Artist Statement - Blue Ribbon

As a volunteer for the recent Toronto hearings held at Ryerson University’s International Living Learning Centre from Sept. 8-11 I felt it would be appropriate to do my poster for BDC192 on this historic event. The authoritative, distinguished panel, expert witnesses and audience members believe the 3 World Trade Centre buildings were brought down by controlled demolition. That the Official Story is a Lie. It was in fact a false-flag terrorist attack which had to be State Sponsored to pull it off.
What became the symbol for 9/11 truth is the eternal three blue beams emanating the night sky from ground zero. The steering committee made a point that this symbolic mock trial be international in scope so fittingly I turned the Toronto skyline which prominently features the CN tower Blue appropriating the truthers symbol.
In attendance were Richard Gage (AIA) and Barbara Honegger the Investigative Journalist and White House Correspondent who flipped the switch to turn on the third blue beam for WTC Building #7 after the relentless pursuit of the truth to raise awareness about the “One they want you to forget about.” WTC Building #7 holds the key to solving this mystery and global crises. The truth became the first casualty of this War. The Toronto hearings of 9/11/11 seeks to shine a light on what really happened ten years ago.
I chose primary bold colours (Blue) to make an authoritative statement hopefully it will inspire the audience to become donors to the 9/11 truth movement.
Among the Skills and Software incorporated are a fundamental understanding of Photoshop (layers) and a point and shoot camera.
Challenges became evident as the artist was not allowed to make use of Google Images this was overcome by successfully taking shots of the CN tower myself and incorporating downloads “Brushstrokes” into my poster.
The learning experience was extensive having the honour and privilege of being physically present at the event.
But my final, simple statement is also the most powerfull as it is a dedication to the restless, devoted truthseekers/lightworkers I have had the pleasure of knowing…
“For Their Courage.”
